This dashboard has been developed to help track the progress of data that has been published and used within the California Open Data Platform. The metrics displayed help identify the progress of data that has been published and accessed to the platform. This allows for citizens and data stewards to understand the success of open data initiatives and evaluate opportunities for continued growth. Information on datasets and resource files have been collected from the CKAN environment that powers the Open Data Platform. This is combined with website usage statistics collected from the Google Analytics API to help understand trends and patterns with site, dataset, and individual resource file usage.
